Hayden and Ryley’s audiobook is here! Yay!
Hayden is no one’s alpha–not now, not ever–but he is still determined to protect Willow Lake from his villainous brother. Yeah. Okay. That sounds like something an alpha would say. But, seriously, he can’t let his brother take anyone else from him–not again, never again–especially the man Hayden suspects might be his fated mate.

Magic, murder, and a whole lot of coffee—welcome to Ravenstone!
Declan Hawthorne is just your average caffeine-addicted guy—until a visit to his grandfather reveals: magic is real, witches exist, and apparently, Declan’s one of them.
Now he’s getting to know Ravenstone, a supernatural small town where the coffee is strong, the monsters are quirky, and someone just murdered a vampire at the first annual Magic Festival.
His ally? Gideon Blackwood—a gorgeous wolf shifter who can’t shift but still manages to growl in all the right ways. He knows he can’t be Alpha, but that doesn’t stop him from protecting everyone else… including one reckless new witch who doesn’t know when to quit.
Between magical cookies and cakes, a bunch of meddling misfit monsters, and a lot of spilled coffee, Declan and Gideon have their hands full. But if they want to catch a killer—and maybe fall a little in love—they’ll have to trust their instincts and maybe their magic.
Because in Ravenstone, coffee solves most problems. The rest? Magic and a hot wolf usually do the trick.
Tags: MM paranormal mystery romance, cozy mystery vibes with a bit of heat, an alpha without a wolf, a guy who’s just discovered he’s a witch, some magical cakes and cookies, supernatural small town creatures, low angst, lots and lots of coffee, a misfit monster support group with a heartbroken mermaid, a murder-board-creating shadow imp, a matronly spider lady, a grumpy demon, an extroverted sprite, a shy bigfoot, and Declan’s hippie grandfather.
FINALLY! I have exciting news about Levi and Parker’s book!
Moody as a Minotaur (Willow Lake Pack #1) will release on Amazon on October 1st. When it releases on Amazon, it will be in Kindle Unlimited. The regular paperback will be going live soon (it has been uploaded, so it is just a matter of how long Amazon will take to process it), and I am working on getting the large print paperback finalized too.
You can preorder the ebook on Amazon here!
However, until September 26th, you can also buy the ebook from my website. If you use discount code LeviLovesParker at my store, you will receive 20% off. (Store Link is here: https://loriames-shop.fourthwall.com/promo/LEVILOVESPARKER)
OR… Review copies will be coming this week. Booksprout will have a limited number of copies available (you can follow my profile here) or there will also be copies available at Gay Romance Reviews (you can find out how to join their review team here).
Magic isn’t real, is it?
Parker’s intuition has been itching for months—no, it’s probably closer to years—telling him something isn’t quite right in Willow Lake. But sometimes it’s safer to ignore the feeling than expose truths you don’t want to face. Especially when Levi, the handsome and beefy owner of the local motel, is right in the middle of all the weirdness.
Okay, okay.
Parker might have an itty-bitty crush on the big guy, but who can blame him? Levi is delicious… and as the owner of a café, Parker knows a thing or two about tasty treats.
And now Parker’s Nana is in town and she hasn’t come alone. She’s dragged his cousin and his paranormal investigative team along with her. But her arrival couldn’t have come at a worse time, because Parker was finally making progress with Levi.
Now what is he supposed to do? Because, for the record, it is incredibly difficult to flirt when your grandmother is eyeing everyone, including Levi, like she’s in the FBI and they are in the Mafia… or like she’s Van Helsing hunting down a bunch of powerful supernatural beings.
Because that’s ridiculous. Really.
Right?
Tags: MM Paranormal Romance, a wary minotaur, a curious human, a meddling grandmother, fish make great friends (mostly because they can’t talk back), no one likes a paranormal hunter, and secrets no one expected.

I thought it’d be fun to look at some common tropes! So here are a few that I’ve used in my Willow Lake Supernaturals and Willow Lake Pack series. (You can find the books on Amazon here)
The Willow Lake world is all about the supernatural small town! It is fun though to imagine a wonderful little supernatural town where everyone knows everyone and accepts them for who they are.
Yes. This is everywhere in Willow Lake! It’s a fated mates extravaganza in that little town!
I play with this trope a bit in Moody as a Minotaur. Parker and Levi have been friends for a long time… and they are attracted to one another, but something is holding them back.
A recurring theme in the Willow Lake world is the idea of finding people who will / have become your family. In Hellhounds Never Lie, Dillon has been searching his whole life for a place to belong and he finds it in Willow Lake. In Oracles Always Win, Gage has created his own family when he created his team. And in Alphas Never Hide, Hayden has family, but it takes him time to realize that his pack is his family too.
Ash and Dillon’s relationship in Hellhounds Never Lie has hurt / comfort in it. Ash is still hurting from a past relationship, and he has the scars to prove it, and Dillon is hurting because he longs for something he doesn’t think he’ll ever find.
I have a couple of books with size difference. Mercer and Oak from Ravens Never Fall and Ash and Dillon in Hellhounds Never Lie.
I’m play with this a little bit in Moody as a Minotaur with Parker and Levi, but I have plans to explore this trope more in a future book.
I play with this trope in a few of the books (like when Ryley goes home with Hayden to watch over him in Alphas Never Hide or when Adrian decides to protect Jeremy in Wolves Always Bite), but no one has been snowed in or stranded anywhere yet. I definitely see something like that happening in a book soon!
In Alphas Never Hide, Hayden is a little grumpy and Ryley is a little sunshine (although probably more snarky than sunshine… LOL). But I have plans for another grumpy / sunshine combo soon!
I play with this trope a little bit with Hayden and Ryley’s book Alphas Never Hide. When Hayden walks into his trailer and realizes he has nowhere for Ryley to sleep… I had so much fun writing that!
Jake has a sexual awakening when he meets Gage in Oracles Always Win.
Simon is a bit of a fish out of water in Cats Never Fly when he unwittingly summons a dragon and is thrust into a situation he is completely unprepared for.
~~~
There are so many tropes I haven’t explored yet, but I think some of these might be fun…
Protect his nine lives. Check. Find a pretty treasure. Check. Summon a dragon. Ch— Wait, what?
Cat shifter Simon refuses to jeopardize any of his nine lives, thank you very much. That saying “curiosity killed the cat” won’t ever apply to him. No way, no how.
Except . . .
When he’s out hunting for field mice one night, he finds the most wonderful whistle. It’s magical and intriguing and so very, very pretty. He knows he should return it, but what’s the worst that could happen if he blew on it first? Just once.
Months later, he finally has the courage to do just that, and when he does, the craziest thing happens. He summons a dragon, of all things.
Now what is he supposed to do? Particularly when Simon would rather keep the gorgeous dragon shifter than send him back to where he came from . . .
Narrator: Kirt Graves
Main Characters: Jake (oracle) and Gage (demon)
Jake believes he is absolutely ordinary… But what if he isn’t?
Jake is absolutely, completely ordinary, even if he has a weird painting affliction. Painting is relaxing, right? It helps. It’s a form of art therapy. Even if his painting is the subconscious kind. The middle-of-the-night, paint-while-you-sleep kind. The kind that makes him puke every single time it happens.
Okay. So, maybe that’s not exactly normal.
But when a sexy but presumably imaginary guy with horns, who Jake’s strange painterly alter-ego has been fixated on for the last year, suddenly shows up in town with horns and all, Jake doesn’t know what to think. Especially when the not-so-imaginary guy claims he’s a demon and that Jake’s an oracle, of all things. That’s when Jake begins to suspect his life is never going to be the same again.
After all, he mentioned the horns, right?
Tags: A demon with a found family, an oracle unknowingly in need of a tether, the talking cat is a glutton, oracles know things, oracles shouldn’t paint in public in only their underwear, the wolves in the hills are still jerks, a formerly human guy keeps asking crazy questions, who knew horns and wings could be sexy, and… just how many supernatural beings will be drawn to this one little town?
